Meet Kate, the founder of Kate Park Events and still very much hands-on. She is full of new and exciting ideas, a perfectionist with the practical skills and expertise to deliver your event on time and on budget.
Her clients always eulogise about Kate’s management and her ability to think big, whilst keeping her feet firmly on the ground.
Kate says, “I entered into the world of events at the age of 21, starting out as a PA. With a background in performing arts I found all the elements I’d learnt in my training went hand-in-hand with the events industry. I worked my way up, through sheer hard work and determination and became a Director at the age of 26.
After 11 years and following the birth of my second child, I decided to set up Kate Park Events Ltd. I am delighted with how the business has grown and now plan events across the UK and worldwide..”

I would give 5 stars to anyone that can put up with me when organising my sons barmitzvah. I literally drove Kate and Rachel mad for 18 months. In hindsight I really didn’t need too as they are experts in what they do. It isn’t just the organising of the event but it’s down to the class of product they use from the lighting to furniture to dance floor to staging (one of my main things I wanted was for them to make the room look MEGA) and they couldn’t of pulled it off any better, It was jaw dropping!
I would definitely use Kate Park events again if they had me back🙈

We had a bit of an unconventional wedding in which I, the Groom, planned everything and the bride knew nothing at all, except the date and that she would choose dresses for herself and her bridesmaids. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted the wedding to look like and even more importantly, what it should feel like. It was a daunting task to try and find a wedding planner and a friend had previously used Kate for an event and said she was amazing. Kate and her team searched high and low for a venue and eventually found the perfect one. They made everything such a pleasant experience, including ensuring that our 150 guests managed to keep absolutely everything a secret from my lovely wife.
We reviewed about 35 music acts before selecting the handful or so who played at the wedding. Kate seem to enjoy the process as much as I did and wanted it to be perfect so it didn’t matter how many things we reviewed or how long it took, it needed to be right for us. Kate effortlessly accommodated my many random requests, including the day before the wedding for us to arrive at the venue by helicopter at exactly the right time to make a great impression.
One of my concerns was that I didn’t want it to feel like someone else’s wedding, but with Kate’s care and attention to detail, she created our perfect unique wedding, not the wedding that a general wedding planner wanted to create. When the event was happening, Kate and her team were always there.
We actually did the event over 2 days, as there were different groups or people from our lives who hadn’t met before, so we used the first day as a casual BBQ with excellent musical acts to break the ice, so that on the day, we were all just one big happy family. It worked perfectly and a few people said that it was the best 2 days of their lives, it certainly was for my wife and I. We just need to think of another event that Kate can organise for us!
Words cannot possibly describe how awesome our wedding was and it was because of Kate Park and her fabulous team of amazing ladies.
